History
A1 Industrial Trucks Ltd was set up in 1983 by Derek Wymes and Graeme Tennick, who both continue to lead the company.
From small beginnings as a service and repair business the company has grown to become a major supplier of materials handling equipment and the biggest independent Mitsubishi dealer in the UK.
In April 2008 A1 Industrial Trucks Ltd became part of the Northern Bear group.
Resources
We have over 500 trucks available for short or long-term hire – we are the leading supplier of fork lift trucks in North East England.
We have a 10,000 sq ft purpose-built factory and a fleet of service vehicles based at our Newcastle premises within one mile of the motorway network.
Our greatest resource is our workforce, currently 26 employees (including 10 highly skilled service technicians).
Our very experienced management and administration team ensures that all work, including the supply of vehicles, servicing and training, is carried out to the highest standards, on time and to the total satisfaction of our customers.
