5-day Novice Course
Designed for proposed fork truck operators without driver experience and/or knowledge.
Training comprises: introduction to types of fork trucks, safe operating practices, fork truck stability, hydraulic systems and their operation, basic battery care and maintenance, daily inspection, elementary driving procedures, handling of empty pallets, stacking and de-stacking, manoeuvring laden in confined areas, wagon loading and unloading, correct practices and day-to-day operation, practical operating test and written theory test. Successful candidates receive a RTITB accredited certificate.
2/3-day Course
Designed for fork truck operators with experience but without a RTITB certificate.
Training comprises: introduction to types of fork trucks, safe operating practices, daily inspection, elementary driving procedures, manoeuvring laden in confined areas, practical operating test and written theory test. Successful candidates receive a RTITB accredited certificate.
1-day Refresher Course
Designed for experienced fork truck operators with a RTITB certificate.
Training comprises: safe operating practices, stacking and de-stacking, manoeuvring laden in confined areas, practical operating test and written theory test. Successful candidates receive an updated RTITB accredited certificate.
